Yes. Your InvoiceNow ID belongs to your business, but the network lets only one provider hold it at a time. De-register it here first. Your new InvoiceNow-Ready Solution Provider can then register the same ID for you.
Before you start
- Every transmission must be finished. While any document is still Pending or Sent, System ManagerCompany Profile shows a warning with a View Documents button that lists them, and deactivation is refused until they finish.
- Receive or drop everything waiting in InvoiceNowInbox. The Inbox closes when InvoiceNow is deactivated.
- Someone with Corppass access must be able to open the mailbox entered in Email when InvoiceNow was activated.
- Only the owner and roles that include the company profile can do this.
De-register your InvoiceNow ID
- Open System ManagerCompany Profile and find the InvoiceNow section.
- If GST InvoiceNow is activated, click Deactivate GST InvoiceNow and confirm. The status becomes Pending Deactivation.
- An email is sent to the address entered in Email when InvoiceNow was activated. Open it and log in to Corppass to authorise the deactivation.
- Once the deactivation has been authorised in Corppass, the page updates by itself: GST InvoiceNow is deactivated, its section offers Activate GST InvoiceNow again, and Deactivate InvoiceNow is no longer greyed out.
- Click Deactivate InvoiceNow and confirm. This takes effect immediately and removes your ID from the network.
- Tell your new provider your UEN, or your GST registration number for an SGGST ID, and that the ID is now free to register.
What happens next
- Your new provider registers that same ID, and customers and suppliers who already have it do not need a new one. Its format depends on how your company is registered: 0195:SGUEN followed by your UEN, 0195:SGGST followed by your GST registration number, or 0195:SGUXN followed by your UEN and a suffix. See Choose your identifier type.
- Between de-registering here and registering with the new provider, nobody can send you e-invoices and you cannot send any. Choose a quiet day for the switch.
- Documents you have already sent stay here with their InvoiceNow history, and they remain locked.
- Your Vendor ID and contact details stay on System ManagerCompany Profile.
What can stop you
- If Deactivate InvoiceNow is greyed out with Deactivate GST InvoiceNow first. GST InvoiceNow is still active or its deactivation is still pending. Finish that first.
- If deactivation is refused because documents are still waiting for transmission, wait until each shows Delivered or Failed. See Check the status.
- If GST InvoiceNow stays at Pending Deactivation, the Corppass authorisation has not been done. Check the mailbox, including the spam folder. Cancel Deactivation returns it to active if you change your mind.
- If your new provider reports the ID as already registered, the deactivation here did not complete. Check the InvoiceNow section, then raise a ticket under SupportSupport Ticket.
